February 2026: New batch of factsheets published on bush thinning and bush use

Two new NamTip factsheets have been published in the beginning of 2026, addressing key challenges and opportunities related to bush encroachment and rangeland degradation. Factsheet #14 focuses on bush thinning as a restoration measure, examining its role in improving rangeland conditions over time. Factsheet #15 explores the commercial use of bush biomass for energy production, with a particular focus on charcoal and wood chip value chains, including their potential and the main barriers to their development.
