Lucas Mandrisch has been a research associate at the Chair of Public Sector, Finance and Social Policy since February 2026. He has been pursuing his PhD since October 2021 at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Universiteit Antwerpen under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Luca Paolo Merlino and Prof. Dr. Koen Decancq. His dissertation examines the effects of family policy measures on fertility, labor supply, and household decision-making. Lucas Mandrisch obtained his Master’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the Università degli Studi di Milano. His research interests include family economics, labor economics, political economy, and social choice theory.
