Ekaterina Kulebiakina earned her bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Financial Control (Economics) at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow. She is currently studying for a master's degree in Economic Policy and Quantitative Methods at the University of Potsdam. Her research interests lie in the field of empirical political economics and urban economics. She has been working at the Chair of Public Economics since March 2026.
