The inclusion team at Potsdam University is actively working on making the University a place where all people can participate equally. The main members of the inclusion team are the inclusion officers and the representative for severely disabled employees. Depending on the specific matter, they are supported by other people, such as representatives of the staff council, colleagues from the Human Resources Department or the company physician.
The representative for severely disabled employees supports the interests of employees with disabilities and chronic and mental illnesses. She provides them with advice and assistance and also participates in job interviews. The represaentative for severely disabled employees is elected by the employees with severe disabilities. She receives suggestions and complaints from employees and can also engage in negotiations with the employer.
