Our research revolves around two main topics: leadership and teamwork.

Here are some examples of the types of questions we address in our research projects:

  • How do leadership, team composition, and team processes affect team performance?
  • How can synergistic teamwork be fostered in demographically, functionally and/or informationally or cognitively heterogeneous teams?
  • How can leadership enhance organizational innovation?
  • How can performance and satisfaction in organizations be promoted by a complementary combination of monetary and non-monetary incentives and measures?
