The Writing Assistance at the Campus Festival 2026
At this year’s Campus Festival on June 5, two attractions of the Writing Assistance’s booth immediately captured the interest of many students: the (well-known) prize wheel with a variety of rewards, and the new “decoding game”, in which an everyday sentence is translated into academic language and then back again. In addition, conversations with the writing tutors offered visitors the opportunity to learn more about the Writing Assistance’s services. Students were thus able to talk about their concerns and questions informally, even without a scheduled consultation, and become familiar with the tutors.
Throughout the afternoon, the booth attracted numerous university students as well as other visitors. The prize wheel appealed to a wide range of age groups, as questions had also been specifically prepared for a younger audience.
Overall, the Campus Festival provided an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of the Writing Assistance’s services and to show students that they can use of this support during their own writing process.
