Dr. Shushanik Margaryan

Shushanik Margaryan held a postdoctoral position at the Chair of Economics, specialising in Economic Policy, at the University of Potsdam from May 2021 to July 2026. Shushanik completed her dissertation at Universität Hamburg on the subject of "Empirical analysis of societal challenges: social cohesion, labor market transition, and population health". Her research interests are in the fields of health economics, education economics, and labor market economics. Shushanik Margaryan was awarded  the HCHE Young Researcher Award  for her paper "Low emission zones and population health" published in the Journal of Health Economics.
