You can find the Faculty's Dean's office in building 11, the so-called Philosophicum. it furthermore houses the departments of History, Philosophy and Jewish Studies and Religious Studies.

You can also find a part of the university library in building 11.

Be careful! Building 9 may look like building 11; but houses the Predident's office, the Career Service, part of the library and several lecture and seminar rooms.

This unremarkable buuilding next to building 9 is building 10, where the university library is located. This is where you can find books for the subjects related to the Faculty of Arts. Information on the departmental library at Neues Palais

The largest lecture hall on campus - Auditorium Maximum - is located in building 8. You can also find the Office of Student Affairs, the Central Examination Office, the International Office und the cafeteria here.

Haus 19 is located on the other side of the road and houses the department of English and American Studies, the department of Romance Studies and the Center for Languages and Key Competences (Zessko).

The buildings 1 - 5 were dorms during GDR times and house several departments and offices today.

Building 1: Department of Arts and Media, Department of Slavic Studies

Building 2: School of Jewish Theology 

Building 3: Human Ressources

Building D: is not part of the university  

Building 5: Department of German Studies

Find your way to building 12 when all this studying has made you hungry: The refectory is located here. You can find the current menu here.

There are also lecture rooms, the university's ambulance and a gym (yes, really) in this building.
