Workshops of the Career Orientation for Students of the Humanities

"So what can you do with that?" - Career orientation, networking & competency profiles for humanities students

This workshop is aimed at all humanities students who are still unsure about what career future awaits them or could await them. Together, we will examine your strengths, your proven and potential competencies, as well as your interests, wishes and goals with regard to your studies and your professional career. In plenary sessions, as well as in group or partner work, we will develop possible courses of action and explore different career fields if necessary. The aim of the workshop is to give you helpful tools and insights for the first steps in your career orientation, a clearer idea of your own strengths and abilities, and an overview of further opportunities that will help you make informed decisions when entering the job market.

This workshop is offered as a satellite event to the Matching Day 2026.
