New Moodle courses are "delivered" in a standard configuration. For most courses, the course format ("Topics") is appropriate, as is the pre-configured forum "Announcements", but other formats are possible. Depending on what you and the students do or plan to do during a semester or block course, you can configure and design your Moodle course.
Here you will find the most important first steps:
Course applications can be made on the respective Moodle platform in the top navigation bar under "Courses" -> "Apply for course". Only new courses can be requested via this form.
If you would like to move a course, please write an e-mail with
to zim-serviceuuni-potsdampde. You can find the Moodle ID in the URL of the respective course. For the course https://moodle2.uni-potsdam.de/course/view.php?id=24832 the Moodle ID is 24832.
Copying courses is done in three steps:
If you would like to apply for course, please see the explanation earlier on this page. At https://docs.moodle.org/39/en/Course_backup it is explained how to backup your existing course. At https://docs.moodle.org/39/en/Course_restore it is explained how to restore the backup in your new course. After restoring your backup, the course is copied.
You can delete courses via the Lifecycle plugin. To do this, go to Course administration -> Manage courses in the respective course or use the following link:
If you would like to delete a course on other Moodle platforms (Exam.UP, Open.UP, Moodle-EFP), please write an e-mail with
to zim-serviceuuni-potsdampde. You can find the Moodle ID in the URL of the respective course. For the course https://moodle2.uni-potsdam.de/course/view.php?id=24832 the Moodle ID is 24832.
You can enter additional instructors yourself; instructions can be found at https://docs.moodle.org/39/en/Assign_roles#Course_context.
