Information on the central printing solution

The University of Potsdam and the company Canon have concluded a contract for provide a central printing solution.

For students and employees, printers have been set up at central locations and are available for use.

The following services are available

# Printing and copying in colour and black/white - A4 and A3 format
# Scan to Mail | Send scanned documents by e-mail
# Mail to Print | Send PDF files by e-mail to print server

For the production of print products, use the services of the in-house print shop. Small print runs up to A3 format can be produced here.

Students:

Please use the student chip card (PUCK) for printing, copying and scanning.

Scan to Mail - The function "Scan and send by e-mail" is available at the central printers.

Please note that documents can only be sent to university email addresses [name@uni-potsdam.de]. Scanned documents will not be sent to external e-mail addresses or incorrect recipient addresses. These documents will be deleted immediately.

Mail to Print | Sending PDF files to the print server by e-mail

The Mail to Print service can be used by students on the UP campus as well as externally.

Students write an e-mail to mailtoprintup-student@uni-potsdam.de and select one (1) PDF file to be printed as an attachment. Enter the ID number of your chip card in the "Subject" field.
