Bridge course in mathematics for all STEM subjects
At the start of the winterterm, the Faculty of Science will offer a bridge course in mathematics for students of STEM subjects.
The aim of the course for first-year students is to close gaps in mathematical knowledge and skills and to improve understanding of mathematical issues and basic concepts in order to facilitate the start of their studies. The content of the A-level phase is refreshed in exercise groups.
Please note that the bridge course is only offered in German.
When?
The bridge course takes place in the two weeks before the start of lectures in the winter term at the end of September/beginning of October.
Where?
The bridge course takes place on the Golm campus. You will find accompanying materials and support services online.
How?
The bridge course covers several topics. Each topic consists of online material, a lecture, a lecture hall exercise, and a tutorial in small groups of up to 30 people. You will find out the exact schedule in the Open.Up course from around mid-September.
- The online material (e.g., lecture notes, exercises) will be made available to you digitally in good time.
- The exercises take place on the Golm campus. There are usually several exercise groups for each topic, so you can create your own individual timetable.
