Bunte Wiese Potsdam

Our name mean „colorful meadows“ and that’s what we want to establish, more diverse meadows at the campus and all over the city. These meadows are mown only twice a year, therefore many plants have time to flower and fruit which enhances the biodiversity. At the moment, seven meadows belong to us (three at campus Golm, one at campus Neues Palais, one a the venue and playground Freiland, one at the venue Scholle 34 and one at the street Schafgraben in cooperation with the BUND). Next to some practical work as well as monitoring we also do public outreach and environmental education. We highly appreciate any new members. More information can be found on our (German) website.
