EXIST Transfer of Research
As the official startup network of the University of Potsdam, we are here to support you in the application and implementation of the EXIST Transfer of Research program. Outstanding research-based startup projects involving complex and high-risk development work can receive funding of up to €250,000 for up to 18 months. This funding enables you to carry out development work to be able to prove technical feasibility, to develop prototypes, to create a business plan, and ultimately to found the company.
We support you in:
✓ Validating the innovative business idea
✓ Composing your team
✓ Assisting with the application, including a 25-page project outline and a work plan
✓ Organizing the project’s implementation
✓ Addressing questions regarding intellectual property rights
✓ Identifying and selection of follow-up funding opportunitie (bspw. Gründung innovativ, Brandenburger Innovationsfachkräfte)
✓ Facilitating participation in trade fairs in Germany and Europe
