If your thesis is not written in German (which generally requires the permission of your thesis readers), your thesis must include an abstract in German.

A decent planning of scientific work is the key for a thesis. The Chair for Economic Growth, Integration and Sustainable Development supervises theses in the field of macroeconomics.
To give you an idea for finding a topic for your thesis we recommend the monthly reports of Bundesbank or the contributions of the ECB.
The reports from the German Council of Economic Experts relate on current and relevant discussions likewise. Additionally you can refer to the Journal Perspektiven der Wirtschaftspolitik or the English Journal Economic Perspectives for further inspiration.
