As soon as you found a title and elaborated an exposé for your thesis, you have to register at the Examination Office. In order to do so please follow the instructions below:

1. Complete the topic assignment form (name, matriculation number, degree course, title).
2. Sign the form.
3. Send your transcript of records to Mrs. Frenz (<link>bfrenz@uni-potsdam.de)
4. Submit the form to your first supervisor

The further internal procedure:

• the first supervisor signs the form and forwards it to the second supervisor
• the second supervisor forwards the form after signing to Mrs. Frenz
• the examination board confirms the final thesis topic
• Mrs. Frenz will forward the form to the Central Examination Office 
• you will receive your deadline within two weeks afterwards via PULS

If your thesis is not written in German (which generally requires the permission of your thesis readers), your thesis must include an abstract in German.

Please note that each copy of your thesis must include a personally signed statement on the originality of your work.
