We work on different biological issues, which concern AAA+ complexes, proteasomal biogenesis, and electron transfer in redox proteins. Our projects are funded through individual research grants from the DFG and through projects within the “UniSysCat” (Unifying systems in catalysis) cluster of excellence. We also maintain collaborations with several national and international partners across different fields of research.
