Paths & Perspectives - Career Panel for International Students

Source: Anna Albert

Whether you are still searching or already have a clear plan for your future – this event offers information, support and answers to your individual questions on setting career paths & perspectives in Germany.

The Career Panel for International Students on July 6 is an online information and networking event by the Career Service. It is designed to give students from all disciplines the opportunity to gather new ideas and broaden their perspectives for their professional orientation and individual career paths. Topics include planning an internship, volunteering, pursuing a PhD, starting a business and finding a job after graduation.

Rather than a lecture-style information event, this will be a collective learning environment in which everyone is encouraged to pose individual questions and provide answers based on expertise or experience.

The program is structured in three parts:

  1. A first session gives the opportunity to get to know another and discuss issues from the thematic area of "practical experience".
  2. Parallel panels on different topics allow to choose whichever you consider most interesting or relevant - find out and pose your questions!
  3. Two parallel conversation rounds with fellow students, alumni and professionals from international working environments highlight the variety of choices and multiplicity of possible paths and perspectives.
