Route by car:

From Potsdam: Via Heinrich-Mann-Allee in the direction of Bergholz-Rehbruecke to Arthur-Scheunert-Allee (approx. 7 km from the center of Potsdam)
From all other directions: Via Berliner Ring (A10) to junction Dreieck Nuthetal, continue on A 115 to exit Saarmund, then in the direction of Potsdam
To premises (Gelände) V: After 1.2 km turn left onto Alice-Bloch-Straße
To premises (Gelände) E (DIfE’s main building): Follow the main street for 2 km; Haus E is on the right side

From Potsdam: Take tram lines 91 or 93 (usually every 10 min.) to the end of the line, Bahnhof Rehbrücke
To premises (Gelände) E (left side) with bus 611 (usually every half hour), direction of Saarmund, to bus stop Institut für Ernährungsforschung or walk approx. 1.3 km along Arthur-Scheunert-Allee
To premises (Gelände) V (right side) with bus 611 to bus stop Sportplatz or continue walking 1 more km
From Berlin: Take a regional express (RE) train, direction of Belzig or Dessau (usually hourly), or from Berlin Wannsee station, a RE train, direction of Jüterbog, to Potsdam-Rehbrücke station
OR take a regional express train, direction of Brandenburg or Magdeburg (usually every half hour), or rapid transit S-Bahn line 7 to Potsdam Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), then as above from Potsdam

From Berlin-Tegel Airport: Take bus X9 to Zoologischer Garten station or take bus 109 to Charlottenburg, then continue with public transportation from Berlin (as above)
From Berlin-Schönefeld Airport: Take the regional express (RE) train, direction of Belzig or Dessau (usually hourly) to Potsdam-Rehbrücke station or the Regionalbahn RB 22 train to the end of the line, Potsdam Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) (usually hourly), then continue from Potsdam (as above)
