The EDUC Teaching Academy & COIL.UP invite you to participate in a dynamic training program designed to introduce you to the power of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) & Virtual Exchange (VE)!

What is COIL/VE?

COIL/VE breaks down classroom walls, fostering cross-border interaction and shared learning experiences. Imagine your students collaborating with peers from across the EDUC alliance on exciting projects, exchanging perspectives, and developing crucial skills like intercultural communication, digital fluency, and teamwork – all within your existing courses!

This introductory course is perfect for you if:

• You're new to COIL/VE and want to learn the fundamentals.
• You're eager to enhance your teaching with innovative, globally-focused methods.
• You want to equip your students with skills highly valued by employers.
• You're a faculty member at any of the EDUC partner universities.

Course Structure:

• Introductory Session (90 mins): June 23rd, 10:00 - 11:30 (online) - Kickstart your COIL journey!
• Self-Work Phase (10 days): June 24th - July 3rd (asynchronous) - Develop your initial COIL/VE ideas.
• Closing Session (90 mins): July 4th, 10:00 - 11:30 (online) - Share, discuss, and refine your project drafts!
