What is the online course about?

You will be initiated to the Scientific Approach and Critical Thinking in a very interesting and innovative way.

The self-study course is an opportunity to discover scientific method, research professions and to deepen your capacity to think critically in all situations. The course is composed of 9 interactive and exciting online sections, with contributions from teachers and researchers from the EDUC alliance. Sections last approximately 3 hours each so they are short and easy to manage and are open (in an asynchronous mode) for a 10-week period. This course is open to all students, in an open access self-study approach

This online course focuses on 9 different themes that are the following:

2 - Identifiying of a Scientific Question

3 - Bibliographic Research and Tools

4 - Data Science and Management

5 - Past and Future of Computation

6 - Sciences For and With Society

7 - Artificial Intelligence

8 - Research and Inclusion

9 - Research Committed to Societal Issues

  • 17th September until 26th November 2025 (application deadline 12th July 2025 )
  • 15th October until 19th December 2025
  • 21st January until 1st April 2026
  • 11th March until 20th May 2026
