Curriculum Vitae

I studied English, French and Italian at Leipzig University, at Université de Provence Aix-Marseille and at European University Cyprus. During my BA and M.Ed studies I worked as a student assistant as well as an EFL teacher at a language school in Leipzig. I gained university teaching experience at the department of Teaching English as a Foreign Language as well as Teaching Romance Languages at the University of Leipzig. At the department of French and Italian Literature and Culture Studies at Leipzig University, I worked on my PhD on Popular Culture, Gender and Media in Marcel Proust (finished in 2019). Since 2020 I am a research assistant at the department of Teaching Romance Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Potsdam. In 2021 I joined the department of TEFL at the University of Potsdam as a research assistant. Besides this, I am teaching at a Berlin grammar school in Zehlendorf.
My research interests include inter-/transcultural learning, digital media in the language classroom, new approaches to literature didactics and gender / queer pedagogies.
