Sectorlens and CanChip won the Brandenburg Innovation Award 2025
The award ceremony took place on 10th June 2025 as part of the 'Sustainable Production' cross-cluster conference, organised by the Brandenburg Economic Development Corporation (WFBB).
It was an exciting morning of recognition for outstanding innovations, with six nominated companies presenting their work. Five of these ideas convinced the Brandenburg Innovation Award jury this year. Here at Potsdam Transfer, we are particularly proud that two start-ups from our network won the special prize for micro-enterprises.
Sectorlens impressed the jury with its AI-supported platform, 'Find Your Software'. Designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises, this tool simplifies company analysis and the selection of suitable software with just one click. By combining AI-supported requirements analysis, data-based vendor identification, and comprehensive process support, Sectorlens enables companies to make informed digitalisation decisions quickly and efficiently.
Based in Potsdam, CanChip is a start-up that is helping to shape the future of cancer research with its tumour-on-chip models. These chips enable realistic testing of human cell models, replacing the need for animal testing and making a valuable contribution to personalised cancer treatment. Faithfully reproducing complex tumour environments enables patient-specific testing and contributes to the development of sustainable drugs.
We are delighted by these successes and proud to have played a part in them. We look forward to continuing to support and promote innovations that have a lasting and positive impact on society.
Congratulations to Sectorlens and CanChip!
