Xin Li
I am a PhD student in the Potsdam Embodied Cognition Group (PECoG). After achieving my Bachelor degree in "Applied Psychology" (2016) from Beijing Normal University in Zhuhai (China), I obtained a Master degree in "Developmental and Educational Psychology" (2021). I am funded by the China Scholarship Council and have no teaching duties.
My previous work on cognitive processing of abstract concepts has two areas: the cognitive mechanism and developmental characteristics of number-space associations, and power-space-associations.
Currently, my research interest lies in embodied numerical cognition, and I also keep investigating the role of power representations.
Keywords
- power-space associations;
- finger counting and numerical cognition.
