Potsdam Preparation Program
In 2013 a five-months preparatory program for ODOS scholarship-holders in Thailand, was initiated in cooperation with the Office of Educational Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin. This course aimed at preparing the scholarship holders for the entrance exam at a German Studienkolleg, which is essential to acquire the German university entrance qualification.
In the winter term 2013/2014, 15 out of 16 participants successfully passed the entrance exam at a Studienkolleg in Germany. For 22 weeks, the participants took part in an intensive German language course, as well as seminars dealing with German studies, grammar, phonetics and the technical language of economics, engineering and maths. In addition to that, we offered a special math tutorial. This prepared the future students for their studies in Germany and helped them to acquire the necessary language skills.

6 hours technical language: economy, math, engineering
1,5 hours Practical Phonetics
3 hours Grammar
3 hours German studies
2 hours math tutorial
overall: 480 hours - Course period: 5 month in autumn/winter or summer
