Education:

Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research, Bad Nauheim, Germany
PhD (Biology), 09/2012 – 08/2017
Investigated the role of TGF-β family ligands during cardiac development and regeneration in zebrafish.

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, IndiaM.Tech (Biotechnology),
07/2010-05/2011
Analyzed the effect of Camellia sinensis on glucose induced cardiac inflammation in rat cardiac cells.

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, IndiaB.Tech (Biotechnology),
07/2009-05/2010
Studied the reversal of norepinephrine-induced cardiac hypertrophy by curcumin in rat cardiac cells.

Research Interest:
I am interested in elucidating the effect of various environmental cues on vertebrate cardiovascular development and cardiac remodeling by using zebrafish as a model organism.
