Introductory event for first-semester students summer 2026
The introductory event for freshers will take place Thursday, April 9, at 3 pm on Campus Golm (house 25 room 2.25.F0.01). The event is obligatory and provides all necessary information to understand the study program and course organization. For those who cannot attend in person there will be a Zoom link to join the introduction course. You will get all information concerning your studies and organization during the seminar. All information necessary for enrollment and starting your semester at the University of Potsdam can be found online .
PULS Introduction
In addition, there will be an introduction to PULS, the online platform for planning and organizing your studies, online via Zoom on Tuesday, April 7, at 10 am. For the Zoom link, please send an email with the subject line "Zoom link PULS Meeting" to tutoribb(at)uni-potsdam.de .
Master Get Together 15.04.26
On Wednesday 15.04.26 the student council FSR BCE is organizing a get-together for new master students, to which students in higher semesters as well as student advisors are invited. There will be drinks, snacks und waffels.

International Buddy Welcome Picnic
Hello,
We would like to invite you to our International Buddy Welcome Picnic - an opportunity to come together in a relaxed setting, meet other students and make new contacts. Also a chance to meet representatives from ESN (Erasmus Student Network) and some of your Tutor Team for International Students (tutoring-and-writing-assistance).
International Buddy Welcome Picnic:
When: Wednesday 22nd April 3pm – 5pm
Where: Central Grass Area at Campus Neuen Palais – see map below.
What to Bring: Your own food & drink, Picnic Blanket or something to sit on. Good weather and a happy mood!!
There is the opportunity to join in some fun games provided by Uni Potsdam Hochschulsport if you wish.
This event is open to all interested International and Potsdam Students – please spread the word.

The Picnic will only take place in good weather – we will let you know on the day if is cancelled due to bad weather. (so be sure to check your email) In germany they have a saying “April April der macht was er will” - meaning the weather will do whatever it wants – so fingers crossed for a dry day!!
