The Writing Assistance Program at the Center for Languages and Key Competencies (Zessko) offers workshops, writing groups and individual assistance to students with their academic writing assignments. Students who have surpassed the standard study period (i.e. longer than 4 semesters) can make a voluntary appointment with our graduation counsellors Patrick Kühmstedt and Stephanie Sumner for an individual consultation. Issues covered include: planning one's studies in order to complete the degree (planning for exams, help with designing semester plans, time management); identifying hindrances to finishing the degree (cases of hardship, compensating for disadvantages, writer's block); and connecting students with other support services at the university.
