Carlotta Isabella Zona

Doctoral project

My doctoral project investigates how visual cues are used to guide sentence processing and comprehension in different populations of speakers (e.g., older adults, non-native speakers), and is supervised by PD Dr. Claudia Felser. Since July 2020, my research is funded by a PhD scholarship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.

Research Interests

  • Sentence processing
  • Multi-modal cue integration
  • Multilingualism
  • Embodied cognition
