My main focus of research lies on:
- Sedimentology (Facies Analysis in outcrop and subsurface of Carbonates, Sandstones and Shales)
- Pore System Analysis (2D and 3D with Digital Image Analysis and CT-based models)
- Petrophysics (Porosity, Permeability, Cappilary Pressure, Thermal Conductivity)
- Reservoir Characterization (Hydrocarbon, Geothermal and Hydrological)
