Introducing Ourselves: The Professorship of Professor Dr. Siegfried

We are delighted to introduce our new professorship in Business and Economics Education for Vocational Teacher Education at the University of Potsdam.

At the heart of our work are topics such as digital teaching and learning in commercial education, future-oriented educational concepts, and communication in commercial classrooms. We aim to approach these topics not only from a theoretical perspective but also through hands-on, practice-oriented work. We place great value on actively involving students and on collaboratively developing projects that create real added value—for both academia and society.

We particularly value Professor Dr. Siegfried’s enthusiasm for practice-oriented, interdisciplinary collaboration and her ability to make complex academic topics accessible and engaging. With her guidance, we seek not only to conduct research, but also to create learning environments in which students can explore, experiment, and further develop their skills.
