The Chair of Business and Economic Education for Vocational Teacher Training, led by Professor Dr. Christin Siegfried, regards the qualification of teachers as a key pillar for future-oriented vocational education. The chair places a particular focus on the challenges and potentials of digitalization. In close cooperation with partners from research and educational practice – especially within third-party funded projects – the chair develops concepts and formats aimed at fostering professionalization, action competence, and digital teaching and learning innovation.
