In the area of professionalization, she is particularly concerned with the integration of digital tools to support learning processes and with the design and implementation of VR-based simulation scenarios for teacher education. Another key focus is self-regulated learning: she designs and investigates learning environments that foster individual regulation of learning processes and develops digitally supported formats aimed at strengthening self-learning strategies. The overarching goal of her work is to develop empirically grounded concepts that sustainably enhance both digital and pedagogical professionalism in teacher education.
