Rick Lutzens studied political science and psychology at Heidelberg University. Since September 2023, he has been a research assistant at the Chair of Complex Multimedia Application Architectures. Until July 2025, he worked on BIRD, a pilot project for a national digital education platform. Since then, he has been working on the NFDIxCS project, where he contributes to the development of recommendations for the governance structure of the National Research Data Infrastructure.
