to the website of the Working Group on Instrumental Analysis in Nutritional Science!

At the Institute of Nutritional Science (IEW, www.uni-potsdam.de/de/iew), an interdisciplinary research focus is on the nutritional assessment of macronutrients and micronutrients with regard to their health-promoting and/or harmful effects. The “Instrumental Analysis in Nutritional Science” research group supports the IEW in this effort by conducting analytical studies for the quantitative determination of intracellular metabolites. Using state-of-the-art analytical equipment, the group aims, among other things, to identify specific biomarkers and investigate their potential influence on plant or human metabolic physiology and their physiological effects.
