The central equal opportunity commissioner and their deputy support the university in ensuring equal opportunities for women and men. The commissioner advises members of the university on questions related to equal opportunities and works towards the dismantling of existing disadvantages. • Strategic advice on equal opportunity issues in higher education
• Individual counseling in cases of sexualized discrimination, mobbing, conflicts and compatibility issues
• Advising the university management and various commissions on staffing procedures, development concepts, equality plans
• Continuing education in gender- and diversity-sensitive skills acquisition
• Consulting on gender-sensitive language, gender bias, and structural barriers to women in science
• Promotion of gender research at the interface with equality (policy)
• Anti-discrimination work and protection against discrimination
