Meet Representatives of Common Funding Programs and Investors

Self-financing your own startup is completely out of question? This workshop provides you with an overview of different opportunities from public funding to Venture Capital.

In a brief summary our experts will outline different system of funding, entry requirements and cases of application. We will make sure all your questions will be answered: Take the opportunity to arrange a time slot after lunch for your individual meetup with the funding and investment experts.

Dr. Till Meiling from Potsdam Transfer will introduce the “EXIST Gründerstipendium”. EXIST Business Start-up Grant supports students, graduates and scientists in preparing innovative technology and knowledge based start-up projects. Till will also give an intro on VIP+.

Ulrike Wohlert and Kuang Dai from WFBB (Economic Development Agency Brandenburg) work in the Department of Start-up Services and Coordination of Innovation & Clusters.

They supervise applicants for the program “Innovationen brauchen Mut” for those who have an innovative idea and want to launch a company, a freelance business or become the new leader of an established business in Brandenburg. The Program “Gründung Innovativ” provides financial support for start-ups with innovative business ideas in Brandenburg

Tilo Hönisch is funding advisor at the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (business promotion bank in the federal state of Brandenburg). He will speak about his perspective on different funding opportunities as well as loans.

Claudia Dubro from Brandenburg Kapital GmbH will give insights in investmens by the region's leading venture capital investor.

Marco Winzer has been with the High-Tech Gründerfonds since its inception and was involved in setting up the fund. The graduate economist has many years of experience in financing start-up companies in the life sciences sector and has accompanied the value-added chain of the 'venture capital model' from seed financing to the successful exit. Before joining HTGF, he gained know-how in start-up consulting and worked for the Business Innovation Center Kaiserslautern, Technologie-Beteiligungsgesellschaft and KfW.
