I am working on my PhD within the project “Plants and People in Urban Green Space” (PAPPUS), which aims to understand how decision-makers affect plant assemblages present in different urban green space, and how their decisions affect the respective ecological and human benefits that can be realized from urban green space in a changing climate. My work focuses on identifying the drivers of urban plant community assembly, how humans perceive plants in urban settings, and how community assembly might change under different future scenarios of climate, urbanization and decision-maker behaviour.
