Alex Miklashevsky ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Potsdam Embodied Cognition Group (PECoG). Er hat seinen Masterabschluss an der Tomsk State Universität (Russland) absolviert in den Bereichen experimentelle kognitive Linguistik und psycho-linguistische Datenbanken. Derzeit arbeitet er an seiner Promotion zum Thema „Motorische Repräsentation von numerischem Wissen“ an der Universität Potsdam. Hierbei misst er spontane und unbewusste Änderungen der Greifkraft, wenn numerische Konzepte verarbeitet werden. Das Ziel seines Projektes ist es, Prinzipien der verkörperten Repräsentation von Zahlen zu untersuchen.
