Jaime A. Riascos-Salas

Jaime A. Riascos-Salas ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Doktorand der Potsdam Embodied Cognition Group (PECoG). Er ist Mechatronik-Ingenieur (ITM, Kolumbien) mit einem Master-Abschluss in Informatik (UFRGS, Brasilien). Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf der Erforschung innovativer Ansätze für die Mensch-Roboter-Kollaboration (entweder physische oder virtuelle Roboter), der Integration multimodaler Interaktion mithilfe von BCI (Brain Computer Interfaces), Emotions- und Gestenerkennung (Video- und Verarbeitung natürlicher Sprache) auf der Grundlage modernster Ansätze im maschinellen Lernen und Deep-Learning, verkörperter Kognition und Robotik.

Jaime ist Stipendiat des DAAD-Stipendienprogramms „Forschungsstipendien – Promotionen in Deutschland, 2024/25“. Für das SoSe 2024 unterrichtet er das Seminar „Advanced Methods: Experimental Programming“.
