Beim Brettspiel "Lesson Study — Das Spiel" handelt es sich um die etwas andere Art der Fortbildung. Das Spiel wurde entwickelt, um Gruppen von Lehrkräften die Methode Lesson Study und damit die didaktische Ko-Konstruktion spielerisch näher zu bringen. Auch wenn das Spiel vorrangig für Lehrkräfte konzipiert wurde, eignet es sich auch für weiteres am Unterricht beteiligtes pädagogisches Personal und Lehramtstudierende. Das Spiel kann sowohl als erste Einführung in den Lesson-Study-Prozess dienen als auch als Weiterbildung für Lesson-Study-Teams.
Um einen möglichst praxisnahen Einblick in Lesson Study zu ermöglichen, wurde das Spiel basierend auf einem echten Lesson-Study-Prozess aufgebaut, der an einer Grundschule in Deutschland stattfand. Dennoch eignet sich das Spiel auch für Personen, die Lesson Study in anderen Schulstufen und -fächern durchführen wollen.
Beim Spiel kommen drei bis sechs Personen zusammen, die in der Gruppe Lesson Study kennenlernen wollen. Es sind keine Vorkenntnisse der Methode nötig. Stattdessen spielen Sie sich Schritt für Schritt durch alle vier Phasen eines Lesson- Study-Prozesses. Das Spiel kann von einer beratenden Person moderiert werden. Insgesamt werden für das Spiel ca. zwei Stunden benötigt.
We developed the board game "Lesson Study — The Game" in order to provide a fun, interactive, and motivating opportunity for educators to get to know Lesson Study. The game can serve both as a first introduction to the Lesson Study process and as a further training for Lesson Study teams. It is based on a real Lesson Study process that took place at a primary school in Germany. Since the game's main focus is Lesson Study, it can be played by educators of all subject areas and school levels, by pre-service teachers, and by anyone else who is interested in teaching and curious about Lesson Study.
The game takes around two hours and can be played by a team of three to six players, with or without the assistance of an external facilitator. No prior knowledge of Lesson Study is needed. Feel free to contact us in case you have any questions about the game: lemas@uni-potsdam.de
