Katinka Weissenfeld is an external PhD Student at University of Potsdam’s Chair of Business Informatics Social Media and Data Science, where she is carrying out research the Impact of Social Media on Attention and Well-Being at the Workplace. She’s also a research assistant at Bern University of Applied Sciences’s E-Government Institute, where she participates in projects within the research field of Virtual Identity. Her third main research topic, along Storytelling and Virtual Identity, is Sharing Economy.

Having worked in the field for a long time as Senior Consultant and IT-Project Manager, Katinka can tap into strong practical experience. In 2007, she graduated from Darmstadt University of Technology with a Joint Master Degree in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering (with very good graduation marks) and a specialization in Project Management and Product data technology. She also studied abroad at the Royal Institute of Stockholm in Sweden, where she did a study research project.
