COIL/VE Consultations - Information, Advice, Exchange
Office Hours on Teaching in an International Collaborative Format
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and Virtual Exchange (VE) are teaching and learning formats that use digital tools to facilitate communication and interaction among students and instructors from diverse geographic, cultural, and disciplinary backgrounds. Collaboration within the framework of project-based and problem-oriented learning activities in mixed-group settings allows students to develop future-oriented competencies and skills and to gain intercultural experiences even without spending time abroad.
Are you interested in ways to integrate international topics and elements into your course?
Would you like to provide your students with exceptional learning experiences?
Would you like to learn more about support and funding options at our university?
Would you like to discuss your ideas and plan their implementation?
Regular COIL Consultation Sessions
"COIL Consultations" are an open and flexible format where you can bring any questions, ideas, or experiences—regardless of your current level of knowledge or ideas about COIL/VE. Together—and, if you’d like, with other interested colleagues—we’ll discuss your topics, exchange ideas about your plans and needs, and help you move your projects forward.
The consultation sessions usually take place on the fourth Friday of each month, although the date may vary in some months.
Individual follow-up meetings are possible at any time and can be scheduled.
Stop by! I look forward to seeing you!
