Online workshop for researchers: exploring 2027 EU funding opportunities with CONNECT by YERUN

We are pleased to invite researchers from across the YERUN community to a workshop on Wednesday, 23 September, from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST, designed particularly for early- to mid-career researchers who are exploring to participate in EU funding opportunities.

During the session, we will introduce CONNECT by YERUN and explore how the platform can help researchers identify expertise, build connections across YERUN universities and start developing potential collaborations around upcoming EU funding opportunities.

To make the session practical, we will work with a selection of 2027 calls covering a broad range of research areas:

• Agriculture, food systems and natural resources
• Arctic, Antarctic and polar systems
• Artificial intelligence, digital technologies and data
• Biodiversity, ecosystems and nature
• Cities, neighbourhoods and urban transformation
• Climate change and Earth system dynamics
• Education, learning and skills

We have attached an Excel file with further information on the selected calls so that researchers can already identify topics that may be relevant to their interests.

We would be grateful if you could share this invitation with researchers at your institution who may be interested, particularly those who are interested in EU funding but may not yet have extensive experience in developing European proposals.
