TYPO3 editing stop ended, backend released again

The planned system migration in the TYPO3 backend has been successfully completed. The system is now available to you again – the editorial stop has been lifted.

What does this mean for you?

  • You can now log into the TYPO3 backend and edit or create new content.
  • The migrated content elements (Teaser Card, Link Card, Container) are now available to you.

What's new?

Numerous improvements and updates were implemented during the migration:

New content elements:

  • Teaser Card (replaces Article Teaser, Page Teaser, and Free Text with graphic)
  • Link Card (replaces Link Box, Link Box for the News Column, and Quick Launch)
  • Container element for flexible content arrangement

Additional innovations:

  • Modernized favicon in the frontend
  • Updated university logos
  • Adjusted faculty colors for the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Law (see the email to mitarbeiter-list dated 05/05 "Adaptation of Faculty Colors on the Web")

  • Layout optimizations, such as left-aligned copyright information under images
  • Revised stage slider
  • Updated lightbox
  • New link to the Bluesky profile in the footer under "Social Media"

What needs to be done now?

We kindly ask you to promptly check your website content for correct display and functionality, especially where old content elements have been migrated. Please pay attention to:
