Horizon Europe
Horizon 2020 becomes Horizon Europe.
Horizon Europe is the European Union's Framework Programme for research and innovation. As with previous Framework Programmes, Horizon Europe extends over seven years (from 01.01.2021 to 31.12.2027).
The motto of the new programme is "Evolution not Revolution". With this, the EU wants to emphasise that many programmes will continue largely unchanged (among others ERC-Grants and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions).
Horizon Europe finances the entire innovation chain: from basic research to market launch in the form of individual and collective funding. Both bottom-up and bottom-down calls will be published.
