Welcome to the national research support pages. Here you will find an overview of the most important online portals for information about funding opportunities in Germany.
ELFI is the service point for electronic research funding information in German-speaking countries. It offers a database with over 8,000 programs that collect and edit information on research support. This information is then provided to scientists, research administrators, students and companies on the Internet.
In addition to information on research funding, you will also find access to the DFG gateways Elan (for applicants, comsultants and committee members) and GEBRIS (overview of ongoing and completed research projects)
The Federal "Research and Innovation" Funding Advisory Service is the central point of contact for any questions concerning research and innovation funding. The centre informs potential applicants about the federal research structure, funding programmes and the persons to contact as well as about current funding priorities and initiatives.
In its funding database on the Internet, the federal government provides a comprehensive and current overview of funding programs at the federal, state and European Union levels. This database summarizes funding activity, independent of the funding level and the funding provider according to uniform criteria and in a consistent manner.
The foundation search covers about 9,000 foundations, active in Germany, that have their own Internet address.
