Who can apply?
Applicants must hold a first university degree that qualifies for professional employment in an education-related, social sciences, humanities, or media technology field.
Applicants are expected to have prior knowledge in the field of educational science as well as basic technological competencies. Applicants must provide evidence of this through relevant coursework or comparable practical experience.
Where do I apply?
Applications must be submitted via the University of Potsdam’s online application portal(PULS). Through this platform, you can upload all required documents and track the status of your application.
What are the subject-specific requirements?
You must provide proof of a first professionally qualifying university degree in one of the following fields:
- Educational science, psychology, cognitive science, teacher training, or sociology;
- any other field, provided that at least 60 credit points were earned in courses focussing on educational science, psychology, or related subjects
What are the deadlines?
For the winter semester, the application period starts on April 1st and ends on August15th each year. For the summer semester, the application period begins on November1st and ends on February15th each year.
