The Virtual Joint Field Campaign (vJFC) aims to conduct soil-moisture-related measurements in a virtual environment. Based on these measurements, the performance of different reconstruction methods (i.e. models of neutron flux, gravimetry and radiation) can be compared. Ideally, it will reveal new insights in methods for their generalisation to real-world settings. The vJFC bundles the efforts of generating multiple versions of this virtual environment and conducting the respective simulations.

The virtual field site is currently beeing developed and further information will follow soon!
