  •  Further characterization of the impact of TE on each other’s homeostasis and resulting consequences.
  • Study the in vivo model organisms C. elegans and mouse to understand TE interactions and identify underlying molecular mechanisms of these interactions in the context of inflammation and aging.
  • Establishment of serum and tissue TE fingerprints for the assessment of age and disease with a special focus on inflammation and neurodegeneration in model organisms and humans.
