CRC 1636 at Conference on Metallic Nano-Objects (MNO2026) in Bordeaux

The 7th International Conference on Metallic Nano-Objects (MNO2026) was held at the University of Bordeaux, France, from March 16 to 18, 2026.

The conference focuses on light–matter interactions in micro- and nanoscale structures.

Several members of our CRC/SFB 1636 actively contributed with talks (Prof. Ilko Bald, Prof. Janina Kneipp, Dr. Wouter Koopman) and poster presentations (Dr. Mitra Esfandiari, postdoc with Prof. Nora Kulak, and Justin Koenig, PhD student with Prof. Ilko Bald).

Warm congratulations to Justin Koenig on receiving the Poster Award at MNO2026 in Bordeaux! We are especially pleased to see the success of such an active collaborator within CRC/SFB 1636, who regularly contributes to and engages with events of our graduate school (IRTG).
