Health management
- Occupational safety: Our occupational safety department has many responsibilities, from environmental protection, genetic safety and radiation protection, to ergonomics at computer workstations and regulations on personal protective equipment in laboratories.
- Psychological counseling: The psychological counseling center is available to assist academic employees who are also enrolled in doctoral studies at the University of Potsdam.
- University medical service: As an employee of the UP, you can take advantage of preventive occupational health examinations and special consulting services.
- Accessibility: The integration of severely disabled people and people with equal rights into work processes, or the preservation of the workforce through reintegration management after illness, are part of our everyday practice.
- Center for University Sports: The Center for University Sports at the University of Potsdam offers a wide range of sports, from traditional yoga classes to climbing trips. In addition to the fitness club’s sauna, other active (e.g. PausenExpress) and passive (e.g. mobile massage) offers are available for relaxation and stress prevention.
- Confidential counselors: If things aren’t going smoothly in your day-to-day work, trained counselors are available at all three university locations who will listen to you in an uncomplicated, anonymous and confidential manner.
